Public drop in sessions hosted by the team transforming Chester’s Odeon into a world class cultural centre, took place last weekend.
Over 300 people attended the events at the Town Hall, where they were able to find out more about the project including latest developments, progress on construction, plans for the centre’s programme as well discuss ideas and thoughts with the project’s designers, architects, builders and creative programmers.
The sessions also provided members of the public with the opportunity to share their thoughts on the naming of the new centre.
Graham Lister, Project Director, said ‘We were really happy with the turn out during the weekends drop in sessions, it was a good opportunity to speak with future audience members and other local, arts organisations. There were some really interesting thoughts on the project, and a real sense of excitement; we feel very supported by the Borough and hope to continue to have conversations in this vein’
